Can I still go trekking in the Annapurna Region post-earthquake?

A number of people on our site have been inquiring whether the Annapurna Region is still open for trekking after the recent earthquake in Nepal. I’ll be posting updates here as I get any news or information on resources, routes, and the situation in the region.

Update from a local trekking agency (Three Sisters) in Pokhara:

At least a few months do not send trekkers in the Annapura Circuit Area or the Annapurna Base Camp trek (ABC)

Many people from ABC have left the area and are now in Chomrong or lower areas.

If trekkers go then they will have problem with food and accommodation.

Thank you so much for your query regarding the trekking in Annapurna Base Camp. You can do it without any problem. All trekking route are open after earthquake except Langtang region. The situation almost back in normal.

Thanks
