Annapurna Base Camp Trek is one of the best legendary and classical treks in the world offering the chances to observe and explore the typical Nepali village, and traditional way of life. This is a unique trek along local trails, through forests, villages and terraced farmland treats you to unparalleled mountain scenery, surrounded by enormous glaciers giving you an inside experience into the Nepalese life and culture.
Autumn (Sept to Nov) and Spring (March to May) are the best seasons for the Annapurna Base Camp Trek. The weather is sunny and warm with outstanding views. Trekking in Summer or Monsoon(June to Aug) will be affected by rain but Summer trek could be a boon for a keen botanist.
Day to Day Itinerary:
Day 01:Arrive in Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel. A representative from Nepal Tour & Trekking will welcome you at the airport and take you to your hotel. Free afternoon/evening.
Day 02:After breakfast, enjoy a pleasant morning walk and visit to the ancient Swayambhunath or Monkey Temple, which is a fascinatingblend of Hindu and Buddhist religions. From the top you can see the surrounding Kathmandu Valley. Then visit Pashupatinath, the most important Hindu temple in Nepal. After lunch, visit the famous Durbar Square in Kathmandu. In the evening, we will have a welcome dinner and a chance for you to view traditional Nepali dancing.
Day 03:Drive to Pokhara (900 m/7hrs) by tourist bus – Overnight at a hotel.
Day 04:Drive to Nayapul (1,010m/1 hrs) and Trek to Tikhedunga (1,570m/3 hrs) – Overnight at guesthouse
Day 05:Trek to Ghorepani (2,840m/5 hrs) – Overnight at teahouse.
Day 06:Hike up to Poon Hill (3,210m/4 hrs); and trek to Tadapani (2,610m/5 hrs)- Overnight at teahouse.
Day 07:Day 07 – Trek to Chhomrong (2,140m/5 hrs) – Overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 08:Trek to Dovan (2,500m/5hrs) – Overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 09:Day 09: Trek to MBC (3700 m/5 hrs) and Trek to ABC (4130 mtr. 2/3 hours walking) Overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 10:Trek down to Deurali. Overnight at lodge.
Day 11:Trek back to chhomrong (7 hrs). Overnight at lodge.
Day 12:Trek down to Ghandruk (5 hrs). Overnight at lodge.
Day 13:TTrek back to nayapul(7 hours walking) drive to Pokhara. Overnight at a hotel pokhara.
Day 14:drive back to Kathmandu in the morning (7 hrs) and overnight at hotel in Kathmandu. farewell dinner in Nepali Restaurant.
