Your Guide

I am a University graduate working as a guide since 2006. I initially started my career as a porter as I had always had passion for travel. Although opportunity knocked my doors many times I had decided to work in the field of tourism so I gave the exam for Travel guide and was approved.

My belief is that wherever you work, if you are passionate about your work you will know the core values of work and will never disappoint your clients. "Customer satisfaction" is what have been working for and I believe have justified till the day.

We are doing a charity trek to Everest base camp. The sum raised, after deducting the payable amount will be donated to the Earthquake affected areas and an orphanage, with the help of an NGO namely Pailo Paila.

The most desired destination for trekking in Nepal is undisputedly the Everest base camp.It offers almost everything that an adventurer would wish to indulge in and no doubt on the first place being able to get a glance of the highest peak in the world. It is a moment of pride to share with friends and families over the glass of beer you are having in your local club or over the dinner table. Not everyone get to travel thousands of miles away and walk 5000 meters high above the sea level to just see the mountain which has been the talk of adventurers for centuries.

Everest base camp trek initiates on foot from Tenzing Hillary Airport which is commonly known as Lukla airport. This trek straight up takes you to the base camp and back to Lukla but introduces to the vast terrain within a week. Furthermore, the trek introduces you with the Sherpa culture, their way of life and cuisine. Sherpa people are the descendants of Tibeto Burman race and have a unique way of lifestyle. Everest is heavily inhabited by the Sherpa people.

Two third of the Everest base camp trek fall in the Sagarmatha National park, which is a protected area and now a world UNESCO world heritage site. Majority of the trekkers spot Himalayan tahr which is a rare species of animal found on the mountains. On the other hand, spotting some rare species of birds is as well a common aspect. Overall this trek is splendid and you would get opportunity to indulge in a whole lot thing than just the tallest himalayas in the country.
