Mount Manaslu is located East of the Annapurna range. This trek offers unsurpassed beauty and rich blend of Tibetan and Nepalese culture and true adventure for visitors to Nepal. Here you will find the mountains and valleys covered with diverse and pristine eco-systems.

Fantastic mountain views, rich culture, and genuine adventure tantalize trekkers as they climb to the base of Mount Manasalu. You will soon understand what inspired Eric Valli to create his world famous documentary, “Honey Hunter of Nepal’.

The inhabitants of the upper Budhi Gandaki region are known as the Nuri; their language and dress are quite similar to the neighbouring Tibetans. These local Himalayan people still earn their living through trade with Tibet. The mountain views from Nupri are sensational and crossing the Larke La pass is one of the most beautiful and dramatic of the Himalayas.

Similar to many other trekking routes in Nepal, this trek has many routes to choose from. One option passes through Dudh Pokhari ( a milky lake) that is a common pilgrimage destination for Hindus and Buddhists alike. Another route takes you up to Manaslu Base Camp. While the most popular option is to trek over the Larke La pass to arrive in the Marsyandi valley in the Annapurna region.

  2. Alex

    HI Umod,

Great! I’ll check if Ashok can leave a day earlier and if camping is an option.

  3. Bart Carew

Would love to go if leave a few days earlier. Have flight from Bkk 30 March.
Keep me posted if there is an earlier trek

  4. Hello,

I’m interested in this trip. But I see that the cost does not include permits, accommodation and food. I’m not familiar with getting permits and so on. Therefore I would be interested to know how much the cost for permits, accommodation and food will add up to? Also how cold does it usually get at night in the coldest places of this trek?

  5. Jad

Can we have the detailed plan of this trek.
In addition can we have a full package price including permits food and accommodation

  6. Hello there,
I’m seriously looking into doing the Manaslu circuit but have very limited time in Nepal. I’m hoping to be able and start the trek on 7th March and have to be back to KTM on the 23rd absolutely at the latest.

If this is an option, is it possible to confirm if there are any other people interested in this group or how many have already signed up?

    • Hello,
Myself with 2 friends would like to do the Manaslu circuit as well ,starting around 10th of March.
      Anyone we can join?

    • That makes a group of three. I can inquire with Ashok to see if he has anyone else interested in this date.

    • Hi Yaeli and Pieter,

I spoke with Ashok and although he doesn’t have any other clients booked for March 10, he’d be happy to do it as a group of three. Same price as listed here with everything included as listed under the ‘Price Includes’ tab. (Also includes a porter).
