3 Passes + Gokyo Lakes trek
I’d really like to do the 3 passes trek in May and add on the Gokyo Lakes at the end! I’m traveling solo and don’t think it’s smart to do this hike alone. I’m looking for travel partners! Please reach out to me if you have an extended amount of time in Nepal and want to do this trek.
I’m also interested in climbing a peak at some point and would be looking to do that guided.

Hey Jules! I’m also travelling alone and am looking into doing the 3 passes trek in May. I’m hoping to do the majority of it unguided to save some money, but also don’t plan on skipping any steps to get acclimated properly. I am currently in Pokhara all of April for a yoga teacher training that ends on April 30, so I wouldn’t be able to start trekking til May 2nd at the earliest. If you’re interested in trekking together let me know!
Not three passes but I’m looking for someone to join me for the Gokyo (or all) section of the itinerary below.
01-May-18 Kathmandu to Shivalaya (Bus)
02-May-18 Shivalaya to Kinja
03-May-18 Kinja to Lamjura
04-May-18 Lamjura to Ringmo
05-May-18 Ringmo to Kharikhola
06-May-18 Kharikhola to Surke
07-May-18 Surke to Phakding
08-May-18 Phakding to Namche Bazaar
09-May-18 Rest day
10-May-18 Namche Bazaar to Dole
11-May-18 Dole to Machhermo
12-May-18 Rest day
13-May-18 Machhermo to Gokyo
14-May-18 Gokyo to Tragnag Hike to Gokyo Ri
15-May-18 Tragnag to Dzongla Over Cho la pass
16-May-18 Dzongla to Lobuche
17-May-18 Lobuche to Gorak Shep Day trip to EBC

19-May-18 Dingboche to Namche Bazaar
20-May-18 Namache Bazaar to Lukla
21-May-18 Lukla to KTM
I’m hiking with 2 friends from Jiri, meeting a third at Namache, and they will likely stick to classic EBC but might come along for Gokyo (though probably not). At this point we don’t intend to hire a guide or porter.
Hey, I’m landing in KTM on the 22nd and looking to do something similar. Let me know if we can meet and discuss. I’ll be putting up in Thamel
