  1. Hi, Nicola, Myself and a friend of mine will be coming to Nepal on Dec 3 afternoon and we are keen on doing the ABC trek as well. We are both 26, male and from Bangladesh. I figured our start day for the trek would coincide with yours. So if you are fine with us, we 3 could do the trek together.

Both of us are travel-freaks but havent trekked in the Himalayas before. Our English is good (or so we’d think) and i can speak Hindi as well, which should come in handy during the treks. We were thinking of hiring a porter only, since English speaking guides wouldn’t be that much required. We are moderate trekkers as well, with mid-range budget, my friend is into photography. Our itinerary involves 8-9 days to complete the trek from Pokhara and back. Lemme know if you’d like to join forces 🙂

  2. Hi guys!

I am also looking into doing the ABC-trek beginning of december. I am a 24 (almost 25) year old girl from Sweden. I’ll be arriving from Bali after a month of yoga. I am not planning on any guiding. I would be interested in hiking together! We seem to plan on the same amount of days.

I have been doing hiking before, mostly in the United States. Will be my first time in Nepal!

  3. Hello Lisa,
Glad to hear that we are enlarging the group. I already had a chat with the other two guys from Bangladesh. They want to hire a porter. I hired already a local guide for 230$ not because of helping for the track but moreover because we can raise questions to him/her about what we see and about local culture. We will start from Pokhara on the 6th.

    ciao

    Nicola

  4. Hi Nicola,

I’m also hoping to do this trek next month. I’m 23, from Ireland, and just love long-distance walking 🙂

The guide seems like a great idea but I don’t think I’ll need a porter.

Any chance I could join your group?

    • Hello Tabea!

Just saw your message on Nicolai’s post and wondered if you fancied doing some trekking together?

I fly into KTM on the 29th of nov and hope to start anapurna sometime after that from Pokhara. Im pretty flexible with dates and am in touch with a few others.

      Many thanks, Joe

  5. Hi Nicola,

I was planning to do this trek from the 5th starting from Pokhara but nothing is firm up yet. Currently, I am still waiting for my friend to link me up with the guide he went with previously.

Can I find out about your itinerary as I intend to reach back in Pokhara on the 14th so that I can go paragliding on the 15th before I fly back on the 16th.

Hope to hear from you soon!

    Regards,
    Glenn

  6. hellloo!

I seem to have a similar plan to most of you guys and wondered if you wouldnt mind another tagging along?

I arrive in KTM on December the 29th and hope to be in pokhara a few days later to begin but i am flexible with dates.

    Cheers, Joe
