Annapurna Base Camp Trek

Hi All, Happy New Years!
I’m John from Australia. Just looking for a partner to join. I’ve already completed other treks in Everest region including Everest base camp and 3 high passes and recently the Annapurna Circuit before New Years all independently. Just wanting to complete my “final chapter” of trekking, the Annapurna base camp and maybe Poon Hill. I’m looking to trek around mid January (I’m in Chitwan at the moment doing a jungle walk) but I can be flexible with my dates and duration. I’m in no rush, so i can go for as long as needed.

I tend to walk medium to fast pace (on Nepali Flat areas) but I also do walk slowly at certain times. I’m not fussed with people who may be a bit slower or faster. I tend to stop frequently to take photos anyway. I like to enjoy the scenery and take breaks whenever to take it all in.

I prefer to go without guide or porter. Just a map and gut instinct….and maybe get a little lost.

***BONUS FEAT. I’ve been told by many Nepali that I look like a guide or porter. Don’t know if that helps in anyway.

***Here’s my recent video of doing the Everest Base Camp and 3 Passes:

  1. Hi John,

My friend and I are also looking for a partner for this. We are planning to do it Wednesday next week, currently in Kathmandu on the way to Chitwan tomorrow. Under no time pressure, this is our first time in Nepal.
