Annapurna Base Camp Trek

Hi guys I’m going to Annapurna Base Camp around 3rd April (I can wait a day or 2 for you but not more as I read April is the last month good enough for trekking before it gets too hot so I’d definitely like to do it at the beginning of the month). I’m looking for preferably a female trekking partner between 25-35 (I’m 27 yo girl) but I’m open to all suggestions. This will be my first trek but I’m relatively fit and also currently training so all should be fine :). However I insist on hiring a guide (but not a porter) as I heard it can really enhance the experience. If my information is correct the trek can easily be done in around 10 days so that’s what I’m aiming for. I’m in no rush as I’ll be in Nepal for 2 months and I’d like to enjoy my time there….
If interested please get in touch!

  1. Hey Sofia,
had any success yet? I’ll probably be in the area during your exact timeframe as well, but I’m planning to start with a side trip to Poon Hill and I’m going to trek without a guide…so I think we are not really “in the same boat” on this trip. Anyway, maybe we run across each other during the trek for a cup of tea 😉

I actually wanted to to Everest Base Camp, but I’m afraid of being stuck in Lukla again, and I’ve never been to Pokhara yet, so I want to finally check it off my list! Thinking about doing three days of whitewater rafting there after the trek, but still undecided on all the details.

Anyway, good luck finding a trekking partner, and maybe until april somewhere on the trail 😉

  2. Hi Sofia,

My plan is pretty much in line with yours except that i’ll just go trekking in Poonhill area for 4-5 days. Will arrive around 4th Apr. I’m a 29 year old girl, never done trekking in Nepal before but quite fit so should be no problem. Will be good if we can share the cost on guide. Let me know if you are interested to discuss further.

    Regards,
    Vivian

  4. Hi Sofia,
I am arriving Kathmadu on 2 April night and leaving on 18 April. I would like to start trekking asap so I could have a few days taking rest around Kathmadu before flyng back to Hong Kong. I don’t have preference on the trek, if it is possible to complete the ABC trek in 10 days, I would like to join you if you are still looking for partners. My alternative is Langtang as it seems to be shorter and equally amazing 🙂 Im turning to 29 years old, first time trekking in Nepal, I think I am fit enough for long trekking as I go hiking from time to time. Please let me know if you are interested!

  5. Greetings.
I am from Bangladesh and I am 32 yrs old. I am interested in ABC trekking. I have never done trekking in Nepal before. I heard the best season for ABC are Mar/Apr and Oct/Nov. Would have been best if it could be done in late March.
    Preferred ABC route is:
    Pokhara>Granduk>Chomrong>Bamboo>Deurali>MBC>ABC>>>>>Zhinu>Granduk> Pokhara>Kathmandu
It will take 12 days may be. But I am open to any suggestion until it covers ABC and the schedule [10/12 days] as I am a working woman.

Please let me know if you are interested so that we can discuss further.
    TIA.

  7. Hi Sofia!

I assume that you already decided your trip by now. I will however arrive in Kathmandu on the 3rd and are planning to do the ABC trek, and it would be nice with some company and have a few people to share the cost of the guide with.
I will fly out of Kathmandu on the 18th so I’m quite flexible regarding when to start and end.

I’m a 33 year old guy from Sweden. I have never been to Nepal before but have done some week-long trekks in the mountains of Sweden and Norway so I have some experience from trekking in the past.
