Annapurna Circuit Trek

Hi,

I’m looking to trek Annapurna from Dec 19 2016 on the Annapurna Circuit, with Lake Tilicho. I’m reasonably fit (and have done quite a few ruck marches and the like) but don’t have any experience at all at altitude and so will most likely be travelling with a guide and no porter, but am flexible either way.

I’d like to incorporate some other activities like paragliding/rafting if possible as well, and welcome any suggestions.

Was going to do this solo but figured I’d post this to see if anyone has similar plans!

  2. Hi there! I’m going to Nepal and wanted to do the same trek around the same period. I dont have a big budget so wanted to go solo too. At the top of my list is definently the Tilicho Lake so maybe we can team up with others?

  3. Hi Ariel and others,

Iam also looking to do AC and Tilicho lake. I posted a departure for the 10th of December as well. Has anyone made solid plans yet?

  4. I am planning for a trip to nepal between Dec 8-26, 2016. Here’s my plan- Paragliding and rafting in pokhara, bungee jumping in bhotekoshi and a visit to tibet border, Annapurna Base Camp trek and visit to Mukthinath Temple. A day or two in Kathmandu. The itinerary can be discussed and planned as per mutual agreement. Would be great if anyone can join me for all the trips. If not, join me for Annapurna Base camp trek would be great. Everything’s on shoe-string budget. Have made similar treks to Ladakh, Himachal from Chennai. Keep me posted

  5. Hi guys!

23 year-old Singaporean here, looking at starting the trek anytime from 22nd December onwards if anyone has flexible dates. As for experience I’d put myself between beginner and intermediate-level but I’m looking forward to my first time in Nepal doing both high-altitude and winter trekking with you guys!

Let me know if anyone is open, we could try and arrange something together

  6. Hey Guys,

I’m Luke, a 23yr old guy from Australia. I’ll be flying into Kathmandu on the 15th of December looking to start this trek anytime around the 18th-20th. Currently going solo but id love to meet up if any of you are keen and happy to share the cost of a guide 🙂 feel free to shoot me a message or add me on FB – Luke Denoord

    Cheers!

  7. Namaste,

I’m Daniela from Germany and will be in Pokhara from the 15th of December. I’d love to do the Annapurna Circuit trek anytime starting from this date. I’d either hire a (female) guide or preferably join up with other hikers. I did other multiple day hikes before but never in high altitudes. My budget rather on the small side.
Is anybody of you in Pokhara at the same time? Maybe we can meet up and discuss? 🙂

    Cheers and peace,
    Dani

    • I have done the circuut 4 times, you don’t need a guide. This will help you stretch your budget. Just get a good map that shows the red/white, blue/white and yellow trails. You’ll meet like minded individuals that you can walk with.
