Annapurna Circuit Trek

Hello, lately my mind has been occupied thinking of doing the ACT. I have never been to Nepal before but I have done a few small and relatively large treks ranging from 3 to 4 thousand meter. I like to travel solo but I am completely open to the idea of having a travel-mate. I am not in a hurry as I would like to pause in between and take my time to get to know people and their culture. Dates could be flexible but I would like to do it before monsoon i.e. July – August.

PS: Hi everyone ! Given to my not-so-well planned trip, I had to cancel it around April and have now postponed it to early October. I hope each one of you to have a thrilling and unique experience.

  1. Hey,

I’m very serious about making travel plans to India and Nepal in April of 2016 and trekking in the Himalayas is a must on my itinerary.

I’ve never been to India or Nepal and have never been on a multi-day trip, however, I plan on doing many in my life. I don’t want to go through the costs of hiring a guide and would benefit greatly if I travelled with a partner and would love to join you on your trip and use you for guidance.

Let me know if you would be interested in doing the trek together and we can make plans accordingly 🙂

  2. Hello Siddhartha,

I’m planning to do the Annapurna circuit somewhere during april. I was planning to do this independently, but a trek partner would be nice!
I’m a pretty slow walker who likes to take pictures and take some extra time to absorb my surroundings. I will be staying +/- 1 month in Nepal, so I don’t have a tight schedule for the trek.
Let me know if you’re interested.

    • Hi Jaspers, I know what you’re saying. The last trek I did earlier was supposed to be an independent attempt but towards the end of decision making, I ended up going with a partner. But anyway, I certainly am interested. Let’s talk !

  3. Hey,

I am flying into India from Thailand with my adventure partner on April 17th. We are going to make our way north over maybe 8-10 days until we cross into Nepal. Absolute must to do the ACT but a shoestring budget would even be a stretch for us (haha). We can move at a slow or moderate pace…as long as we have cool people to trek with and everyone is ok with taking time to soak it all in. Departure date is undetermined so we are ultra flexible. We have never been to Nepal nor have we done anything of this magnitude so some company would be welcome. Please get in touch if you want to team up.

    • Hey there,

I am looking for tekking partners for AC starting at the end up April, beginning of May. Are you still interested in teaming up with others for the AC?

  4. Hi Nadja, I have postponed my trip to October due to some complications. Thanks for asking though, and I hope you to have a great experience ahead.

    • Hi Siddhartha, I am interested in possibly joing up with you for trek in October. Please get back to me. I tried to message you but it didn’t seem to work.

  5. Hi Curtis, Yes, there are a lot of bugs in this portal. But anyway, this sounds great, I am really looking forward to it, let’s keep in touch.

  6. Hello Siddhartha,

Have you firmed up your plans. I am thinking of a trek in October in Nepal and would be interested in knowing more about yours. Maybe I can join if you are still looking for trekking partner.
