Annapurna Circuit Trek

I’m Richard. I’m 27 and I’m British. Nepal is the first stop on a much longer trip as I take some time out from my job.

I want to do the Annapurna Circuit, independently and I’m looking for some good company to do it with. I want to trek independently and I’m flexible time-wise. I arrive in Kathmandu on the 18th March and so far that is the only flight I’ve booked so I will not be in a huge rush and would like to explore any side trips that might exist.

My pace is steady and I consider myself reasonably fit (or at least I have no concerns about being able to do the trek).

If interested, give me a shout.

  1. Hey mate,

I’ll be in Kathmandu around the 21st of March, pretty keen to do this trek around the same time. Let me know if your interested

  2. Hello Richard,

I will arrive the 20th of march in Kathmadu, so I’ll probably be in Besisahar the 22th. I have 23 days to get back in KTM for my flight, so I have plenty of time.
Are you going the same date and are you still looking for a partner?

ps: I must say that I think my pace is a bit slower than you, I also like to take some tea breaks and breaks for pictures.

  3. Hi guys,

Yeah still looking for a partner. I’m pretty laid back timings wise and will be looking to explore side treks etc etc because of that. Pace wise I’m certainly in no hurry, so yeah could work well!

  4. Hey,
Yeah I’m gonna be in Nepal until May so definitely not in a rush either. pretty sure I’ll be in Kathmandu around the 21st so if either of you are in town might be able to meet up then.

  5. Hey!
I’m in the same boat…looking to trek the AC independently but not completely on my own. I’d like to make a plan in advance to assure that I have some buddies to do the trek with. Arriving in Kathmandu either the 20 or 21 of March and I have a bout 3 weeks. Other than that my timing and itinerary are both flexible. I’d love to take some side treks and why I don’t think I’ll struggle with the trek physically, I do like to stop occasionally and take it all in. Let me know if you’re still interested and want to make a plan.

  6. Also interested in doing this hike mostly independently. I arrive in Kathmandu March 23rd and would love to start my trek soon after. Re: Side treks, is anyone here interested in doing Upper Mustang in addition to the circuit? I know this can add a good bit of time. I need to be in Takure by April 12th but I think I can still do it. Excited to find this website and hopeful that I will meet some folk along the way!

  7. Hi guys,

Yeah I’ll be hanging around Kathmandu for a few days so could be a plan! Imagine I’ll be going to Pokhara for a couple days maybe before starting but really just gonna take it as it comes so more than happy to meet up in Kathmandu for those that might be interested.

  8. Hi Richard,

Are you still looking for trekking buddies? If so, when are you leaving? I’ve been trekking in Nepal before, but not done the whole circuit. Moderate pace, but don’t mind stopping to check out the view.
    Let me know, cheers.

  9. Hi Jenny,

Yep I am. Have made no firm plans yet. Only thing set in stone is arriving in Kathmandu on the 18th and probably gonna stay there for a few days whilst I figure everything out. What dates are you there? cheers

  10. Hi all,

  11. Hi Richard and all… I’m interested in this trip – room for another one ? – would everyone be up for a 2 day diversion to Tilicho Tal (Annapurnas highest and biggest lake !)

one thing – on the list page it says your trip is 17 days but on your personal page (this one) it says 20 days, just wondered how long it will be – cheers Iain
