Annapurna Circuit Trek

Hello trekkers!
At the beggining of April, me and my wife Nora will do the Annapurna Circuit. We are looking for other trekkers to walk along with us, at a moderate – average pace. Our goal is to do the Circuit in 20-23 days depends on weather conditions and side trips (like Lake Tilicho).
Also, we would like to hire one porterguide because it is our first time in Nepal but we don’t want to be part of an organised trip.
So, if there is anyone interested, just pop up!

  1. Hey,

I am heading to Nepal for the ABC trek around the same time as you are. It has been my dream to trek up there and fall in love with mountains forever. I had started practicing and should be perfectly fit by April. I want to be there in Spring to see the forest along the trail turns red, pink and white with rhododendron flowers. Should be a mystical experience for sure.

I plan to do the trek unguided and independently and am looking for a hiking partner who would love to join me in the trek. I am flexible with any dates in March/April and will be moderate in the trek. Drop in a message if this works with you.

    Cheers! KP

    • Ciao KP,
You are more than welcome to join the trek with us.
Also we will be moderate, but we will hire a porterguide (mostly to carry my wife’s backpack). As long as it suits you we can walk together.
I believe that 4th of April will be the departure date from Kathmandu. It is not settled yet as we didn’t book the flight tickets yet, nor the guide. Theese days we will do the last arrangements (airtickets, guide). I’ll keep you posted.
      See ya,
      Laur
      PS: nice your absurd blog

  2. Me and my wife also going to make the abc annapurna for the same dates. We also plan to leave Kathmandu on April 4. The fact that we have only the tickets and the longley planet. I researched the route can be done 15 days Besisahar to Tatopani with mild to moderate effort, we are only 22 days in nepal.
Wanting to disconect and enjoy the energy of the Himalayas.
I hope we can make a group.

    Regards

    Erik

    • Ciao Erik,
So, as far as I understand you would like to join us but only to Tatopani.
I don’t think there will any problem at all. And I think it will be a nice group because besides me, my wife and KP (or Kanishka), there will be another girl who will join us. Her name is Zoe and is from Scotland.
Anyway, we will arrive in Kathmandu on April the 2nd in the evening and hope to be on the track in Besisahar on 4th. If you will be in Kathmandu before the 4th of April, we can meet there.
      Looking forward to see you.
      See ya,
      Laur

    • Hola amigos,

Apparently we will be a good group of route
We came to Kathmandu on April 2 too, so we could go out together on day 4. We keep in touch and we wrote near arrival.

    • Hola Erik!
So, as you can read in the presentation we want to hire a porterguide. We just chose our guide so we have new info. My email is laurentiu.ga@gmail.com, please send me yours so I can send back the latest details.
      See ya,
      Laur

  3. Hi there
I’m arriving in Kathmandu on the 1st April and looking for some trekking activities and would love to join your group. My plan was to head straight to Pokhara on the 2nd and take it from there. Either that or I can meet up in Kathmandu instead. Let me know one way or another. I’m relatively fit, and have done high altitude before so I believe I will be fine. It’s my first time in Nepal and I’m so excitied. I’m living the dream!!!

    Cheers guys

    Ash from Wales

We will be like 20 days on the track.
We can meet in Kath or Besisahar, no problem.

  5. Hello guys,

How many people do you have in your group now? I am quitting my job in March end and planning to fly out to Nepal in early April. I haven’t booked my tickets as yet so my dates are quite flexible. This will be my second time in Nepal although I have done numerous treks in the Indian Himalayas before.

I’m planning to do a longish 20-25 days trip as well. Ping back if you’re still looking for more people to join your group.

    Cheers!

    • Hello Sahil!
Our group is 6 persons + 1 guide, for now. I don’t think that it will be a problem if you want to join us. You are welcome, if you are interested.
We will leave Kathmandu on 4th of April, arriving in Besisahar in the afternoon and start the trek there.
Also, we hired a guide, and if you want to join us you have to agree to pay your share of guide’s wage.
Anyway, if you need more information you can find my personal email in the last posts and write to me.
      The more, the merrier!
      Ciao!
