Annapurna Circuit Trek

I’m currently studying anthropology in northern Thailand and my only opening to get to Nepal is during the rainy season. My main concern in doing this trek is safety during this time. There are a lot less travelers on the trail so I’m looking for some fellow hikers open to taking on the AC despite monsoon season. I’m fairly flexible with times and plans and hoping to find some open-minded hikers to travel with.

  3. Hi there,

I’m a history student from Belgium who’s kind of in the same boat as you: I’m arriving in Nepal the 11th and leave again on the 27th of july. Right in the rain season that is.

I’m interested in doing this trek or one similar to it (like the annapurna basecamp trek)… Be sure to let me know if this sound interesting! I’m easy to get along with 😀 so that shouldn’t be much of a problem.

    Sincerly,
    Maarten

  4. Hi!

My name is Melissa and I am a 22 year old girl from Holland. I just took a break from studying and I am thinking about starting the study Anthropology in Nijmegen, Holland after my trip to Sri Lanka and Nepal.

I am also planning on trekking the Circuit or another similar trek during monsoon.
I will be arriving in Nepal on the 27th of June after travelling in Sri Lanka. I’m planning to start trekking after about a week of getting to know Nepal and preparing for the trip. Though, I am flexible with the dates, as long as I am back in Kathmandu on the 10th of August, for my flight back home.
For this trek I am also a bit concerned because of the monsoon, so I would like to do it together with someone else. For safety and because I think that will be more fun!

Please let me know if you are interested! 🙂

    Melissa

  7. Hi guys. I’m Miguel from Spain. I’m planning to do the AC trek between 7th July (landing in Katmandu) and 26 th July (flying to Indonesia). My purpose is to start on 8th July in any town jeep-accesible from Besisahar and to finish in Jomsom or similar to go to Pokhara by bus. I’m a little concerned with monsoon, but I think that is a good time to travel without multitudes walking the paths.
I prefer to share the trek with 3 or 4 open mind people to improve our personal security and the oportunities of success (and fun).

  8. Hi I am Nina from the Philippines. I’d like to do the Annapurna Sanctuary trek between July 17 and August 5. My only worry is the monsoon rains during these days. The Jomsom trek looks like a viable option too since I read that it is in the rainshadow region of Nepal. I am likewise looking for trekking buddies.
