Annapurna Circuit Trek

Hey guys, I arrive in Kathmandu on March 3rd and then plan on starting the Annapurna Circuit shortly after. I’ll be in Nepal for 2 months so I have some flexibility with that start date and I’m in no hurry during the trek. I’m looking for some friends to enjoy the hike with, have some laughs, and look out for each other. I’m open to doing any side trips and figuring it out as we go. Cheers!

  1. Hey Allison, I have a post up for the AC + ABC. Hit me up if our plans sounds similar 🙂

    Kindest, Marcella

    • Hey Marcella! Sorry for the delayed response! I read your itinerary and I’m planning on doing only the AC and skipping ABC because I’m doing EBC in April. I also plan on going without a guide, also because I’m doing a guided trek for Everest. Lastly, I arrive in Kathmandu on the 3rd so I’ll probably take a day or two to get permits and catch the bus; I read that your starting on the 3rd so I might be a day or two behind. We can keep in touch and if things work out, we can try to link up for the first part of the trek before you head up for ABC. I can give you my whatsapp number if that’s easier! Cheers and happy hiking!

  2. Hey Allison and Marcella,

I fly into Kathmandu on March 1st as a solo trekker/traveler. Looking to do AC as well as some sidetrips along the way. I have plenty of time to explore, planning on returning home around April 18th. Not looking to hire a porter or guide to save on cost and have the freedom to take my time. Also looking at potentially doing EBC or Ghorepani at the end of the trip.

A little bit about myself. I’m from Vancouver, Canada, 28 years old. I’m into photography so I will be taking lots of photos. I’m very adventurous and open minded and love the outdoors.

  3. Hey Evan! Cool, I fly in to KTM on March 1 also! And I’m also considering doing the ABC at the end of AC. Did you have a look at my posts? Lets chat more, it sounds like our plans totally match!

  4. Hey guys 🙂
I’m also looking to walk the Annapurna circuit in March.
I have about a month the time, and plan on taking my time on the trail and extending it with some side treks…. (Though my plans are nowhere near set in stone.)
Do you guys already have some more detailed plans? Are you still looking for an extra hiking buddy?
Feel free to ask me any questions 🙂

  5. Hey Alison, I will be flying into Kathmandu early March and staying for 6-8 weeks. Looking to do the Annapurna unguided with some other experienced hikers with a moderate to high level of fitness.

    • Hey Ben! I’ll be completely honest, I’m not an experienced hiker but I have done sports my whole life and am in good shape. I’m looking to do AC unguided and as a warm up for doing the Three Passes Trek around Everest at the end of April. Let me know if you want to swap plans!

  6. Hi Eli,

I am planning to do the Annapurna Circuit trek as well.
I am travelling in Nepal from the mid of February to the end of March.

I also would like to set off around the first week of March and I would like to take easy and not to rush. About the route I am more spontaniously and open for the plans of others. I am a very funny and open person, and your post sounds similuar to my plan.

I hopt to hear back from you!
    Best wishes
