Annapurna Circuit Trek

Hi!
I’m planning to do the Annapurna Circuit from Besisahar all the way to Naya Pul starting around March 26th-28th and I was looking for trekking partners to share the journey (and hopefully a couple of laughs) with. 🙂

I was planning on doing the trek without any guides as the path seems to be well documented and the general consensus seems to be that a guide isn’t particularly required (also seems to be more budget friendly).

I’ll be doing a triathlon near Pokhara on 25 March and have to be back in Kathmandu by the 17th of April so I’d like to do the circuit in the time available in between but am flexible within those limits. If there is time, I’d like to take it easy and go on a couple of side treks ie Tilicho Lake, Poon Hill etc.

I’m not a very experienced trekker and have only done day long treks before, the last of which was in the Cinque Terre region of Italy. Though this is my first multi day trek, I enjoy running marathons so I’d like to think that I’m in acceptable shape for the trek!

Drop me a line if you’re interested in joining!

  1. Hi Abhirath,

I just posted my trekking plans. Similar dates. I am interested. Let me know if you’d like to do this together. I am going to be there for the tri as well 🙂 So guess even if we don’ t end up trekking together I’ll see you during the tri.

    Cheers

  2. Hi Abhirath and Katrika! Are you in Pokhara already? I have similar plans than u both so was wonderin if we could meetto discuss all this. I am basically ready to go, just waiting for trekking partners!

  3. Hey Abhirath,
I see you’d like to do the Annapurna circuit but need to be in Kathmandu by the 17th. I need to be back in Kathmandu by the 15th but would really like to do the incredible Annapurna circuit before I leave! I have some experience trekking in Nepal now and I’ve even done some of the circuit route when doing the base camp (poon hill). I’m heading over to pokhara on the 25th and I’d love to start trekking on the 26th or 27th just to be back in Kathmandu in good time for my flight. I’d be happy to meet up in pokhara soon if you want to do this trek together.
    Thanks,
    Francis
