Annapurna Circuit Trek
Hi, I’m Óscar and I’m 18 years old. I have planned to do the Annapurna Circuit trekking and my idea would be to start it the 29th or the 30th january, because I want to be able to be arriving to India for the 20th february.
As I cannot afford a very high budget, I have decided to look for a companion so that I won’t have to hire a guide, or at least to hire it all by my own. I have met a trustable one through a friend, but I cannot afford it by myself (it cost 2500 rps./day, 25 usd aproximated, so it would be 1250 rps between two). Anyway I don’t really mind to hire him or not if I can find a trustable companion, the main problem I see is that I don’t want to do the trekking completly alone as it could be dangerous not having anyone to cover each others back. So I’m open to both options, hiring a guide or doing it by our own and with a map.
About the starting and ending point, I’m also open to different ideas, we can talk about it and decide it. By the moment I’m staying in Lekhnath, half an hour from Pokhara, helping in the re-building of an organic farm in the area, but anyway I’m planning to go to Pokhara soon to buy a few things, so we could easily meet there.
About where to sleep, I will be looking for affordable places with a good service a nepalese food, as much as I can have warm food and a warm bed I’ll be happy.
So let me know if you are interested and if the dates fit you, and I’ll answer as soon as posible. Wish you a good trekking!
