Annapurna Circuit Trek

Very basic plan so far – trek Annapurna circuit anti-clockwise from Beshi Sahar (or higher if necessary due to time constraints) staying in teahouses and preferably without a guide or porter but will take more advice about the need for a guide. I arrive in Kathmandu on 2nd March and leave Nepal on 28th March so any 12-18 day period in that time frame would suit me to start although I would need at least a couple of days in Kathmandu/Pokhara to get all my gear sorted!

  1. Hi Rachel! My name is Danielle, from Canada. I don’t know if you are set on starting on the 6th, but i fly into Kathmandu on the 4th and was hoping to start the trek within a few days as soon as I get sorted. So I was aiming for the 7th or 8th. I would like to take my time doing a few side trips as well. If you would be interested let me know and if not, happy trails!

    Danielle

  2. Hi Rachel. I’m Sam from the UK and am currently in Kathmandu and would like to head off to do the AC on the 5th or 6th. Your basic plan sounds the same as mine! It would be good to meet up to chat if you are still looking for a trekking partner? Sam

  3. Hi guys, I’m sorry for not replying sooner but I’ve only just seen your messages! Have you finalised plans yet? I’m going to leave on Monday I think as I’m hoping to have a couple of days in Pokhara at the end before my flight home on 28th. Danielle if you were interested in starting the trek a bit higher up than Besisahar to cut off a couple of days at the start then I could leave later so our plans might fit together? Sam, did you decide if you’re leaving tomorrow or Monday? It might be better to get me on Facebook instead of here – Rachel Slaski! Let me know if you fancy meeting for coffee tomorrow

  4. Hey! This might be short notice but I too would like to start from Kathmandu on the March 6th. My plane leaves for back home on the 25th, so my time frame is even a bit narrower than yours. My original plan was to take the bus back from Jomsom just to be safe. But that depends on how it goes. I’m going to spend tomorrow getting my permits/buy bus ticket/final supplies. I wasn’t planning on getting a guide, but I’m open to it. If any of you guys are interested in meeting tomorrow let me know through here/facebook or I can pm my phone #.
