Annapurna Circuit Trek

Dear all,

I would like to do the Annapurna Circuit Trek in October.
I am 50 yrs old and relatively fit for my age, but I have never been to 5500m before. 3800-4000 m has been my normal hiking peak.
I would like to stay in Teahouse, guesthouse or hotel, as I will not bring my tent, in order to save weight.
I am just planning the trip now, so nothing has been fixed, and so dates are relatively flexible.
For safety reasons at height, it makes good sense to me to have trekking partners. If any of you are also wanting to do the Annapurna circuit trek approx.. from 21 October to 6/th of November, would be great to hear from you.
Regards
Ree

  1. Hey Rita.
I am Henrik from Denmark. I am 36 years of age, and I am going to Nepal for two months, around September, Oktober and November. I am not locked on the exact dates yet.
I plan on doing both the Annapurna trek, and the EBC trek while I am there, and would very much like some company, since I havent been hiking on my own before.
Maybe we can make this work out ?

  2. Dear all,
as mentioned above I would like to do the Annapurna Circuit Trek in October to Nov.

I have looked into a private package tour which sounds quite good, so if anyone wants to join would mean we would share the costs ( included guide, permits, transport, all food, accommodation-no drinks).

  3. Hi Rita,
We have a group of 4 doing the Annapurna Circuit just about the same time that you want to do it. It is 3 men and 1 woman. We are looking to travel with another woman for gender balance. There is so much I need to tell you about us and our plan. It may require a series of communications. While we are all older than you, we are very fit and do a lot of hiking and peakbagging in the USA. Let me tell you about Sue Wyman: she is 66 years old, very fit, and has lived in Europe for multiple periods in her life. She is fluent in German and Spanish and probably knows some Italian. Her husband, Vic Henney will also be on the trek. While our budget would not be described as “luxury” we plan to do it just as you described: tea houses porters, etc. We will be staying at the Hotel Friend’s Home in KTM on Oct 17 and 18 and travel to Pokhara on Oct 19. There we stay at the Pokhara Choice Inn on Oct 19 and Oct 20. We begin the trek on Oct 21. I believe that is enough for now. Let me know if you have some interest. Larry

    • Dear Larry,
thank you very much for your message.
But I have already organized something.
I wish you all a great tour.
      Best regards
      Rita

  4. Hi. Rita I too am interested. 64 male Australian. I’d really like to walk the whole way, Besisahar to Ghandruk (?). I’ve done a bit of trekking, reckon I can make it. GREG
