Annapurna Circuit Trek

Hi Everyone,
I’m planning to do Annapurna Circuit trek in March. My plan is to reach Kathmandu on March 15 and take a bus to Besisahar on March 16 morning. This will be my second time on Annapurna circuit so i’m very well aware about AC trek. Last time i did AC in October 2014 and hence i have decided to repeat this trek in March this time. I plan to do this trek as independent trekker with any guide and porter.
Anyone heading in same direction and around same time is welcome to join me for this trek.
Thanks
Ajay

  1. Hi Ajay,

My friend and I are hoping to the Annapurna trek in about 10 days. We’re both in our twenties and hiked the GR20 in Corsica last summer.

We arrive in Kathmandu on the 14th March. We would need to get our ACAP and TIMS card the following day.

Our rough plan was to get a bus to Besi Sahar and then a Jeep from Besi Sahar to Bagarchhap or Chamje and then start walking from there. We would trek to Pisang, Manang, have an acclimatisation day, trek to Thorung Phedi or High View Centre, then to Muktinath and then to Jomsom.
From Jomsom we might take the bus to Lete and then walk to Tatopani to check out the hot springs. Then bus it all the way to Pokhara. Dates not hugely flexible as we need to be back in Kathmandu by the end of March to begin work.

I appreciate you are wanting to do the trek over 15 days. Would you be willing to miss the first section and get a Jeep to Bagarchhap / Chamje? Anyway let me know if you are interested at all!

    Thanks,

    Flora
