Annapurna Circuit Trek

Hey,
I’m a solo female trekker planning on hiking the ACT in the beginning February. I’m looking for one or two other women to join me, for safety but also to have a buddy to talk to and to have a beer with at the end of the day. (: I’m planning on doing the trek unassisted but I wouldn’t be opposed to partners hiring porters. The dates and the itinerary are flexible

A little about me: I’m 26. I live in Cologne, Germany. This will be my first hike over several days. I am moderately fit but am very inexperienced. I’m very easy going and friendly, but I’m also a bit of an introvert so when I hike I like to kind of be alone with my thoughts – but not the whole time.

Let me know a bit about you if you’re interested! (:

  1. Hi Sophia,

I am also planning on doing the circuit- was thinking from beginning on the 2nd of February.

I would also be looking to travel with another female for a bit of safety and company.

I am a 28 year old physiotherapist living in New Zealand.

What date were you hoping to start ?

    Kind Regards,

    Clare

  2. Hi Sophia,

I’m also looking for someone to share the trip with, around this time (or sooner)!

I’m from Bristol, UK and work in music festivals- this is my first solo trip, and one outside of Europe. I also am keen to have moments to myself with this, for some walking meditation but also would love company!

I was looking into getting a guide from 3sisters which is this woman’s empowerment agency. Split between a few people the cost for paying for the guide (with some nice cultural insights, and able to sort out tearooms easily) is pretty reasonable & way cheaper than a tour trek.

Are you set on going independent? I wouldn’t be adverse, but because of the season might be keen for more local guide knowledge about snow etc.

Let me know what you think, I’m around in Pokhara so we could meet for momos or chai?

    Warmth,
    Kate

    • Hi. How much are these guides? Depends on the cost, may be an option!

  3. Hi! I am wondering if this is still going on? Ive love to do this trek with others and I think a guide is too expensive. I plan to be in Pokhara on the 4th or 5th. Let me know! 33 F USA!
