Annapurna Dhaulagiri Community Trek / Mohara Danda/open to suggestion

Hey,

I’m arriving into Nepal on the 4th and hoping to head to Pokhara the next or same day so starting the trek on the 6th probably but flexible to start on another date. I’m there for two weeks total. I’ve done long treks before, Salkantay in Peru being the longest but definitely not a hard core trekker!! I’m keen to interact with locals and take my time to explore. I think the trek should take about 7 days all in. I don’t want to do it on my own so I’ll be looking to join up with someone else/people (who may be better at navigating than me!) or get a guide. Or both! I’m happy to camp or tea house and am keen to do some home stays too. I’m also open to considering a different trek idea and am looking into Indigenous Peoples Trek now as a possibility.

To tell you a little about me I am 28 irish working in the medical field with an interest in mental health.

Anyway if you are interested give me a shout. I’m still finalising my plans so nothing confirmed yet.

I don’t know about budget yet but not looking to spend more than whatever is average for the trip?

Roberta

  2. Hi Mattia, I am planning for a trek to Goechala and would like to invite you. I have hired a local guide and mainly the stay would comprise of a mixture of camps, home stay. It would be nice to have learnt about the local, ethnic culture, songs their way of living. It is a 10 day trek covering 90 kms at an highest altitude of 16500 ft. Let me know if yiu are interested.
