Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lakes Trek

Hey trekkers,
Am an aussie surfer, snowboarder and all round lover of the great outdoors. Am flying in to ktm on the 4th of jan and looking for like minded people to share my adventure with. I would consider myself to be reasonably fit and have had lots of experience hiking and camping in aussie bush but not so much at high altitude. Thats why I’m here… haha. Was possibly thinking about starting the trek from jiri… all plans atm are loose and subject to change so if you have any input I would gladly take it. All I know is I want to soak up as much nepali culture and mountain views as possible. I will be carrying my own gear and traveling on a cheap budget. Am in nepal for two months and was thinking I would trek everest region for around one of those months. If you are relaxed, open minded and keen for adventure hit me up!

  2. Hi! I am currently in Nepal working on a project. I would love to end my stay with a trekking in the Everest region. Basecamp, two/three passes, whatever is possible. I’m 23 and reasonably fit, and like to take it low-budget. I have time from the 10th of january till the 28th. Maybe we can do a part together?

    Cheers, Janna

  3. Hi everyone! I was planning to do the EBC trek anytime after 9th Jan. I have done a few treks in the Indian Himalayas but never attempted one at this altitude and hence plan to do it at a rather moderate pace to ease the acclimatisation process. I am open to hiring a guide and/or a porter but ideally want to do this unassisted. So if any of you are starting on or after the 9th and still looking for a partner then please let me know.
    Cheers
    Basu

  4. What’s up guys!
If you guys are still down for the trek , I’d love to join. I’ll arrive on jan17th and probably will start trekking after 2-3 days of my arrival.
I’ll do the beep drive from kathmandu to salleri and start trekking from there.
    Wish you all the best.
