Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lakes Trek

Hi Guys,

I currently have an amazing Guide at the ready to take us trekking. He has great reviews and helps us get all the passes we need.

I am hoping to be going trekking End of April/May time.
I am hoping to fly to Salleri and hike up towards Gokyo Lakes and then back across towards everest over the Cho La Pass. We are hoping to come back down around Tengbuche Monestary.
The best thing is that we can slightly change our plans as we go. The Guide is very relaxed and VERY experienced.
He prices are brilliant for what we get.

I am hoping to be trekking for around 16 days.

I am very adventurous and chilled out. I want this to be something i will never forget and can’t wait to go.
I am a Personal Trainer so I have a good level of fitness however I am not worried about the pace we trek at as taking in the views and not feeling rushed will be nice.

Many Thanks
Becky

  1. What is the shared cost for the guide? Are your dates set or flexible? It looks like i can be in KTM around the 18th.

  2. Hello Becky.
I am actually planning to to the same kind of trek, but starting from Lukla.

I would like to go through the Gokyo valley & Lakes, then I was planning to come back through Renjo La pass and making my way down, but could consider going through Cho La Pass as well.

I was not planning to get a guide at first but could be a good thing and we could share the price.

I will be in Japan until 29th and planning to get to Kathmandu right after, so I would not be able to begin the trek before may 1st or 2nd (I still have to look at flight tickets and travel time for this part!).

Let me know if that would be something possible for you. I am definitely looking to have a trekking partner that I find before departing or in Nepal!
