Everest Base Camp Trek

Heading to Nepal on August 4th for 4 weeks.

Im on quite a strict budget so therefore I am strongly considering doing the everest base camp trek without the use of guides and porters.

I have done a decent amount of research and have found that the trek itself is quite straight forward.

I would like to team up with like mind travellers though in order to share the experience.

So if you are looking to trek to Everest Base Camp and are on a tight budget lets talk!

  1. Hello Darren, I’m Nepalese guy living in Kathmandu. It’s my first trek to EBC. I’m also on a very tight budget and alone. I’m also looking for a travel partner.

My dates are not fixed, it may be changed according to your convenience. I don’t know whether it’s against this site’s terms to give email. Anyways u can contact me on hernanahunefilm at gmail dot com.

    Cheers!

  2. Hi Darren, oddly enough I’ll also be arriving in Kathmandu on August 4th. I’ll be staying at the Alobar 1000 hostel for a few days and then am hoping to do the base camp trek as well either with another traveler (like yourself) or a local guide. Judging by my $5USD/day accommodation plans you can be assured that I am also trying to do this cheap. It would be cool to do the hike together (and possibly with Ritesh [above] too) if we can! Please let me know so we can sort out finding each other when we’re in Nepal.
