Everest Base Camp Trek

Hey adventurers 🙂

I might plan a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla in the morning of April 6 and do a basic Everest Base Camp trek during 12-13 days (being back in Lukla on April 17/18). Does anybody has the same plan? I’m travelling solo and on a low budget (no guides/porters unless it’s physically impossible for me to carry all the equipment) 🙂

I’d love to see the Gokyo lakes also but probably won’t fit that in my schedule as my flight from Kathmandu departs already on April 20 🙁

I’m still considering some other trek options (e.g. Manaslu) as well.

    • Hi Natalie!
My name is Megan, and I’m interested in joining your excursion! I was planning on doing a similar route, and have the flexibility to go during your timeline. I love traveling and meeting new people, as well as the outdoors. Super excited to see Everest and the Gokyo lakes! How did you plan your itinerary? Are you planning on taking any other acclimatisation days than the one in Namche (I think it’s recommended)? I’m in Kathmandu atm and hoping to book my flight to Lukla, so hope to hear back soon!
      Cheers!
      Megan
