Freedom trekking in Nepal – Lets do it right

Hello there !

My name is Marco, I’m a french canadian college student (20m), in a gap year looking for a open minded, willing and relax trekking partner. I would like the trek to be somewhere in march (april would be ok too), I am very flexible. 10 to 13 days of trek would be the best, but this not a big criteria.

I am looking for a  ”off the beaten trail” trip, independent trek (no sherpas or guide), preferably self sufficient (tent, sleeping bag, mattress, food, I have a gas cooker etc.). I haven’t planned an aera in particular, and I am really opened to suggestions. What I am looking for is not to climb as high possible and to do it for the ”sport” side of it (even though I’m in good shape). I want to go through remote villages and view the real Nepal, view beautiful sceneries, walk through the forest, do a bit of photography, enjoy myself and breath freedom haha. If it involve climbing peaks, thats even better but this not the main idea.

I saw on another post that maybe the ”indegenous people trail” could be a very good option as it goes in very remote aeras, take a look here !http://blissfultrails.wordpress.com/2013/01/02/trekking-in-nepal/

It can also be anywhere else really (Langtang, Annapurna region, etc.). If you are interested in such a trip or a slightly different one, email me at marc-olivier_b-d@hotmail.com. Looking for one or two other people to join me.

I hope that you get the athmosphere that I’m looking for!

Peace
