Gokyo

I’m planning to do the Gokyo trek in mid-November. I’m flying in on the 12th of November, so anytime after this would suite. I’ve been to Nepal before, but this will be my first time trekking.

I’m planning on starting in Shivalaya (catching the bus from Kathmandu – an apparently long and uncomfortable journey!) and then trekking the six days to reach Lukla. From there, it’s onto Gokyo and on the return route, I plan to fly out of Lukla. All up it’s about 18 days 🙂

I’m looking for someone to share the cost of guide, and to be general good company!

I’m planning on integrating some yoga into the trip as well – I’m currently contacting a female guide who practices and is happy to include it in her treks!

  1. Hey Ella,

Just wanted to drop you a line and say hey. I’m looking to trek to Goyko and EBC starting in mid-November too. Your yoga + trekking idea sounds cool.

Would you be interested in joining a group trek flying from Kathmandu to Lukla around November 15? Another guy on here and I are looking at booking one!

    Cheers,

    Krystal

  5. Hello Ella,
I am thinking to start on the 17th to a trek to Tsum valley for around 15 days (I am in touch with a guide already and the days are also a little flexible) and stlll looking for trekking partners. I know you have different plans so far.. but just in case you may change your mind – i am a yoga teacher so maybe it could fit quite well 🙂 best wishes, Maja
