Over the Tihar holidays (Oct 29th to Nov 5th) I’d like to trek up to Gosainkund lake and back by Shiva puri National park in 6 to 7 days. I plan to take the bus to Dhunche from Kathmandu’s Gongabu Bus Park. Walk up to sing Gompa then to, Laurebinayak, up to Gosainkund, over the Laurabina La (4610m) pass to Bera Goth, Phedi (3630m); Gopte (3530m), Therapati (3510m). Then continue south via Mangengoth (3390m) to Kutumsang (2470m), Chisapani (2251m), and finally Sundarijal (1460m), from where there are frequent buses shuttle to Kathmandu’s Ratna Park. I will carry my own pack and won’t take a Guide but a trekking partner(s) would be great. I’ve been living in Ktm for a few years. Speak Nepali & Tibetan no have trekked in solo khumbhu, Annapurna and Langtang.
