Guerrilla Trek – late January/February

I’m in Nepal for a few months and am currently making plans for trekking while I’m here. One trek that I’m planning on completing is the “Guerrilla trek.

It’s amazing opportunity to trek through the middle Himalayas, in an area that hasn’t yet been radically changed best commercialized trekking. I’m excited to have the opportunity to experience rural Nepali culture, and trek in an area with moderately high passes and incredible views of the ranges.

I’m quite flexible for this trip, and am willing to start it anytime between January 15th and March 10th. Additionally, I am willing to consider any of the variations of the trek which lasts in duration between 14 and 28 days.

I’m looking for 1-3 partners, let me know if you’re interested. I’m currently in Kathmandu, so we can meet up and discuss details over some tea if you’re already in country. Cheers!

  1. Hello James, are you still in Katmandu?? Sounds lovely, we’d consider joining, especially for something new and the description is out of this world…unbelievable territory and untouched culture. We are in Paknajal near Thamel and leaving for Pokhara tomorrow by bus. Hope to meet up then soon and go exploring in the wild west with you 😉

  2. Hi James. I saw your ad at KEEP and have been meaning to give you a call. I’m definitely keen to do the trek. Sounds really interesting. I can start pretty much any time and am flexible with the length of the trek. I’m in lumbini at the moment but I’ll be heading to pokhara in the next couple of days. So if you want to meet up let me know.
