Langtang or Helambu

Hello, I’m arriving in Nepal on Nov 12th, and after a bit of sightseeing and breaking into my boots and leg muscles with shorter walks, I’m thinking of doing Langtang or Helambu treks, or both. I’m in a rather lazy mood, and would like to take my time, not rush, and stop for extra days here and there, if it’s not too cold to “chill out”, sitting on a doorstep and looking at yaks or something. I think by late November- early December I should be ready to go. I haven’t thought about porter (probable) or guide (dunno), but I am on a shoestring. I would also like to find partners for day treks or 2 days’ treks departing from the small villages in the Kathmandu-Pokhara valleys. At this stage I don’t know much more… 🙂 Enjoy Nepal!

  1. Hi Elena,

I’m going on a 12day trek in the Langtang/Gosaikunda area with a porter and guide, starting around 26th Nov.
I’m interested in the local people and beautiful landscapes, so hope for a low pace trip.
If you are intereted in joining me, have a look on my trip.

    Best regards!

  2. Hi Elena, I am doing the ABC trek and will be back in Pokhara from 10 December to 15 December. If you are doing day treks or 2 day treks on those dates departing from Pokhara, I d like to join you.

    Cheers
    Carlyn
