Langtang Valley Trek / Tamang Heritage Trek

Hi,

I will arrive in Kathmandu on November 28th and would like to go hiking. In a whole I have around 2/3 weeks time in Nepal. I thought about walking the Langtang Valley Trek in order to support the local people there, which have been badly effected by the earthquake. Maybe also a couple of stages of the Tamang Heritage Trail could be connected. Apart from these two options, I am also open for other treks which you might suggest. Also combination with the Ganja La Pass trek would be possible but we would probably need camping gear for this.

I have been trekking on Annapurna Circuit and Helambu Trek before together with my wife and a decent map bought in Kathmandu. I know that it should not be a problem to walk independent without guide and porters. However, I would like to have at least one partner as going trekking alone in the mountains could be a dangerous undertaking.

If anybody is interested to join then send me a message.

Best regards,
Markus
