Lower Dolpo Circuit Trek – Nepal
My boyfriend and I are planning an organised trek with a guide and porters through the Lower Dolpo region in Nepal. We thought it would be nice to have some other interested people joining us for this trip. Our itinerary is roughly as follows:
01 Arrival in Kathmandu
02 Kathmandu- Permit process and meeting with guide
03 Kathmandu – Nepalgunj by air and stay there.
04 Nepalgunj – Juphal short flight and trek down to Rupgargh and trek further to Kagani village.
05 Trekking to Reichi village
06 Trekking to Ringmo, Phoksundo lake, half day rest.
07 Rest day for exploration of lake side, monastery and village.
08 Trekking to Baga La Upper Base Camp
09 Trekking over Baga La and Camp at Phedi
10 Trekking over Numa La and Camp at DhoTarap
11 Rest day
12 Trekking to Nawarpani
13 Trekking to Tarakot
14 Tarakot to Dunai
15 Dunai to Juphal
16 Juphal – Nepalgunj – Kathamndu
We will meet the guide one day before leaving Kathmandu for pre-trekking information. Because it is a camping trek, there will be a minimum of 6 people staff: guide, cook and porters.
The price includes national airfares, food and drinking water, camping equipment, fees and staff wages.
We (29/30) speak German, English and French. Lately we have spent a lot of our free time hiking, mountaineering or climbing in Switzerland. We are looking forward to trekking in Nepal for the first time.Reply
