Planning on doing the Manaslu Circuit as followed between March and Mid April. Time needed approx. three weeks. Dates are flexibel. Anyone want’s to join?

    Nice to see some Austrian people here! I myself was living there for several years. Your plan sounds verry good, but i would need to start around 8th or 10th, is that possible for you? What do you think about doing the trek without guide. A friend of me went there last year an told me a guide is not nessecary. I have gps-device and the full trek is to download at the hompage, verry reliable. Guides will always stick to their scedule, independetly you can live the adventure way more spontaneous i feel. Let me know if i could convince you.

    • Hello Mauro, I am planning to start Manaslu trek on the 10th of March same as you. so do we partner up for this trek ? I already contacted a guide ( yes,you need a registered guide to do this trek , that’s the rules ) …and prepared everything … let me know your thoughts … I can share with you all the details if you want.

  3. Hello Leonhard, I am planning to start the manaslu circuit in March 10, I have slight different schedule but I don’t think that is an issue
    My schedule is as follow :
    Drive from Kathmandu to Aarughat by local bus and to Sotikhola (597m ) by local jeep
    · Trek to Machhakhola(825m)
    · Trek to Jagat (1330m)
    · Trek to Ekle Bhatti
    · Trek to Bhi
    · Trek to Namrung
    · Trek to Lhogaon
    · Trek to Samagaon
    · Acclimatization day at Samagaon
    · Trek to Samdo
    · Trek to Dharamshala/Larkya Phedi
    · Cross Larkya la and descend to Bhimtang
    · Trek to Gho
    · Trek to Taal
    · Catch a jeep and drive to Bensisahar and then Kathmandu
