Manaslu Circuit Trek

I’m coordinating a small group of trekkers (3-4) which would like to walk the Manaslu Tour as a teahouse trek. By now, the plan is the following:
– 05/11: leaving from Liding (or Soti Khola)
– 06/11: meeting at Jagat around 11:00AM
– Nights at Nyak, Prok, Shyala, Sama (optional, depending on side-treks), Samdo, Larkya Phedi.
– 12/11: crossing Larkya La.
Side treks could be Pung Gyen Gompa, Birendra Taal, Manaslu Base Camp (requiring night at Sama), Rui La. Final plan may be adjusted by 1 or 2 days.

Trekking rythm not specially fast, but longer trekking hours per day.

Due to legal reason, we need a nepalese Professional accompanying us in the Manaslu Park (Jagat to Larkya La). Still remain to be choosen. Like the trekking agency which would be in charge of providing the Restricted Area Permits. But not TIMS and ACAP.

Budget information (US$325 / person) is based on local meals and basic accommodations, but includes all required permits, including TIMS and ACAP for FITs.

  1. Hi Fabrice, I am looking to join a group to share a guide for the Manaslu Circuit at about this time. I was hoping to walk the route quite quickly but with some side-trips. So, your group may be perfect for me to join.

I have trekking experience in Corsica, Pyrenees and Canadian Rockies.

    Please get in touch!!

  3. Hi Fabrice,

Interestingly I am also a Matt also with experience trekking in Corsica – nice coincidence!

I am also looking to do the Manaslu Circuit around the start of November and would be interested in joining a group. I have plenty of time so would also be interested in any side treks we could manage.

I have also some experience trekking in Ladakh and did the GR20 in Corsica a few years ago. I speak english, german and also a bit of french.

Look forward to hearing from you,

    Matt
