Manaslu Circuit Trek

Hello!

I am heading to Kathmandu on the 15th October and am looking to do a guided trek in the Manaslu region. I am planning on being in Nepal for 5 weeks and then heading to India.

I have never been to Nepal before but have done lots of trekking and climbing in England, South and North America.

I want to make a small group, 3-5 people to do a trek with and want to do an itinerary that takes between 14 and 20 days. I think it would be really cool to combine it with the Annapurna circuit. I believe from Dharapani, you can continue to Manang and over the Thorung La and then get a bus from Jomson to Pokhara.

Hit me up if you are heading to Kathmandu around the same time and think we could be trekking buddies!

  1. You can even do Bimtang to Timang in one long day 🙂 Dharapani is not so appealing compared to Timang.

  2. Hi Hannah,
I recently completed the Manaslu circuit and Tsum valley trek back in April and it’s the most beautiful trek I have ever done in my life. I’m from Nepal, completed my studies in the US, came back to Nepal just recently to be in the Himalayas full-time, so got a professional guide license a month ago. I’m looking forward to do another trip in the Manaslu region as a guide, if you are looking for an experienced guide and have great fluency in English, please let me know. Looking forward to hearing from you,

    Thanks,
    Yudhir

  3. Hi Hanna,
I’m going on Tsum Valley Manaslu Circuit with a guide and porter from Oct 15th (or 16th) from Kathmandu to Nov 3rd (back in Kathmandu), 18 days of trekking. The agency is rated in the first ten on Trip Advisor. If you would like to share I can give you their contact details. I’m from Italy and this will be my second trek in Nepal (first EBC).
Feel free to ask because I’ll go alone with guide and porter even though nobody joins.
    Bye.

I will be arriving in Kathmandu on the 16th of Oct. and would be very interested in doing the Manaslu Circuit. I have not been to Nepal before but have been doing lots of trekking in Europe, South America and NZ. Hope to hear from you.

    • Hi Katharina,
Did you arrange your Manaslu trek yet?
We are looking to leave for this trek but on 25 or 26/10.
I’m Italian (and Australian :)) and my husband is Nepalese (so he doesn’t count for the permit )

Thanks for your mesage and sorry for not replying sooner! Are you still looking for people to do this trek with?

  8. Hi Hannah,
I’m currently in a village near Kathmandu volunteering for a dental clinic. I would be done by October 12th and have about a month left in Nepal. I wanted to do trekking in Manaslu region and am flexible with the dates.

If your still looking for a trekking partner I’ll be in Kathmandu, Thamel area after October 12th so we can even meet up if your in the area and plane out the logistics:)

    Regards,
    Nikki
