Manaslu Circuit Trek

I have booked the Around Manaslu Trek, with a side trip to Manaslu Base Camp, leaving Kathmandu on October 14 and returning October 28. I have used Sherpana to book a female guide. The booking includes permits, guide, and porter. If two of us split this, the cost would be about $600 each, and if there were 3-4 of us, it might be around $400 each. This does not include food, lodging, and transit, which each of us would pay for as we go.

(note, the posted cost for 1 person to join trek is not currently correct, I am going to write the site to figure that out).

I am hoping for a small group of respectful, fit, and good-natured people, 2-4 of us. It would be nice to get another 1-2 women, as I imagine we can share rooms in the teahouses.

I am from Anchorage, Alaska, and I do a lot of hiking and trail running.

Please send me a message with a little bit of information about yourself. Looking forward to hearing from you.

  1. Hi Lily,
I arrived in Kathmandu two days ago with a three month visa keen to revisit some areas where I’ve trekked and climbed in the past. I’m an American living in the Netherlands for the last 25 years. Despite that being the “lowcountry” I’ve continued climbing and trekking in the Alps in Norway. If you’re still looking for a potential partners maybe we should grab a coffee when you’re in Kathmandu? All the best, Daniel
