Manaslu Circuit Trek

I am travelling to Nepal with two buddies to trek the Manaslu Circuit Trek. As I have completed the Annapurna Circuit without a guide or porter previously, we are only seeking a guide, not a packaged deal, for the Manaslu Circuit. We will arrive in Kathmandu on October 16 and hoping to leave for the trek asap. Our flights home are 3rd November – which only gives us 17 days to complete Manaslu. Any recommendations would be muchly appreciated. Thanks

  1. Hi, I am planning to do the Manaslu Circuit at the same time and also only with a local guide. I am in contact with some local guides at the moment but since I will travel alone I am still looking for a group to join. To share the costs.

  5. So then is your group open for more, Prue?

I am arriving in India at the start of October, and looking to start the Manaslu trek whenever I can on or after the 14th of October when I expect to cross into Nepal.

I am very fit and looking to do the trek on an independent basis with a guide only. I am not into packages, and I’m shooting for as low of a budget as possible. Your group sounds the closest in tune to what I’m looking for, so I’d be happy to tag along and split the guide costs further.

  6. Hi Prue, Johannes and Jesse,

I am also looking for some people to share the Manaslu circuit with around the same time.

Earlier this year I was fortunate enough to do the Langtang trek and I’ve done self sufficient treks in a few places which is what I prefer. Happy to keep costs low, though I understand you need a guide which is fine.

I arrive on the 12th October so I’m happy to help with any prearrangement we might need so we can get straight on the road.

    Hopefully see you there!

  7. Hi,
I am planning to do the trek from late October. Anyone interested? Please knock.

  8. I feel like it’s worth adding that I’ve heard of some Manaslu organized treks being cancelled this fall because parts of the trek have not been repaired post-earthquake just yet.

We should keep an eye on this. I’d like to still do this trek, but I also don’t want to start it just to find myself disappointed and held up a few days in.

    Fingers crossed,

  9. Hi, I plan to arrive to Kathmandu at 13 October and I looking for a partners to share guide price on Manaslu, I am very budget traveler and will appreciate for any cooperation.
