Manaslu Circuit Trek

I’m planning a slightly longer than usual Mansalu / Tsum Valley trek departing April 2019. Due to fixed flight bookings, I will be starting departing Kathmandu April 1st 2019.
I’m looking for trekking partners interested in adding a few days to the standard itinerary to allow extra days for a bit more exploration, eg Ganesh Himal Base Camp; and extra day at Mu Gompa for exploration of the far end of Tsum Valley.
I trek at a moderate to fast pace, with plenty of photo stops. I’ve done a range of group and solo treks throughout Latin America, Africa and Asia. If trekking in a group, I’m used to everyone in the group trekking at their own pace rather than being forced to stick together… so long as you can see the person in front of you it’s all good!
If you are interested in a trek through this region in April, get in touch with me.
I already have a trekking agency and guide organised.

  1. Hello Jennifer, I’m interested in doing the Manaslu circuit and Tsum valley and any other additions. Flexible about dates as long as it’s finished by mid May. I’ve done quite a few independent treks in Nepal and would like to do this trek in a similar way, sharing costs for the required guide. Fine with carrying my own stuff. Trek at a moderate pace with many photo stops.

  2. Hi Jennifer (andJonathan)
I’m interested in this too. Are either/ both of you still on for it and would welcome a 3rd person? Have done quite a few treks over the years.

    Thanks

  3. Hi Jonathon / Bruce,
Not sure why, but I had no notification of your message Jonathon! Bruce, your message dropped straight through to me. I’m definitely still on for this trek, departing Kathmandu April 1. I have an agency organised; if no other takers I’ll hire a porter / guide through them. If either of you are still interested, let me know a little more about yourself and your plans. I don’t have a fixed day by day itinerary – the route is planned, but I’m flexible regarding overnight stops, rest days, side trips etc. Look forward to hearing from you.
    Cheers,
    Jen

  4. Hi Jen / Jonathon
Apologies, I replied last week but have just seen that my response was blocked…’awaiting moderation’ and never went through. I guess because I put my personal email there. Prefer to continue chat to investigate if it works for us not on open public forum.. I’ll give my email in format that I hope isn’t blocked by the sites systems..

Dates might work for me, are you planning on the full 25 days ie getting to trek finish around 25/26 April? I had intended slightly shorter trip but definitely interested as the Tsum valley looks very special.
I have trekked independently and with groups over the years.
    Cheers
    Bruce

  5. Hi Everyone, my name is Deren. Interested in possibly joining you for the Manaslu Circuit Trek! I’ve trekked in Nepal, South America, New Zealand and usually go at a medium pace (and yes with plenty photo stops!). I’ll be in Kathmandu on Friday morning (29th April). I’m flexible with the schedule but may not have time for a the full 25 days as Bruce mentioned earlier. Anyway, it would be great to chat about it in Kathmandu!
