Manaslu Circuit Trek

Hi all,

I’m a 20 y/o male from the USA currently studying abroad in Australia. After my exams I am aiming to trek Nepal for 2 weeks before headed back south to trek New Zealand. I’m looking for partner(s) and a guide to do the Manaslu circuit trek in 13 days, maybe 14. I’m a bit crunched for time and I’m trying hard to fit this in. I’m a laid back guy who enjoys a good laugh. I enjoy weird, quirky people with good stories, so if you fit the bill, let me know. I’ve got plenty to share of my own. I’m in good physical shape and have never had any altitude problems up to 12,000-13,000 ft. With proper acclimatization i don’t expect this trek to be much of an issue at all.

Guides: looking for one to join us on this trek. Don’t need a porter. Please advise if there may be any issues doing this trek in late November. I hope a lot of the issues from the earthquake will clear up by then.

  1. Hi Richard,

i am also aiming for this trek around the same time with my wife. We are both 30 y/o. We want to do it in 18 days (to possibly explore the Tsum valley) or do a couple of side treks on the way.
Any chance we can extend your trek?
I am planning to land in KTM on the 15th and hire a guide from a local company. Our budget is as low as possible, no porters etc…

    • Hi Joao, I’m looking to fly into Kathmandu as early as the 25th of November, ideally closer to the first of December, is there any chance you and your wife would be interested in delaying your trip a week or two? I wish I could leave earlier but have a business trip the week of the 15th. Let me know! I have my heart set on doing this trek but have been unable to recruit a partner.
