Manaslu Circuit Trek

Hi everybody,
I am planning to do Manaslu Circuit Trek in 2 week, arriving to KTM March 27th, would like to start trekking in 2-3 days after my arrival. I´ve go a decent offer from one local travel agency but might look around in KTM when I arrive as well.
Would be great to have a buddy! I am trekking in a slow/moderate pace, just “normally” :).
Please let me know if you are interested.

Looking forward to new adventure!
Silvie

  1. Hi Silvie,

I’m Wannes and also want to do the manaslu circuit on a low budget. I am not an experienced high altitude trekker but I’m a 31 year old moderately fit guy so I’m good with the slow to moderate pace 🙂
I will be in kathmandu on 26th of April which gives me a couple of days to check for guide, permits, etc.. together if you are up to that. Let me know how you feel about this.

  2. Hi Wannes! That would be great if you want to do Manaslu! I am still waiting for 2 more girls to decide but send me your email/finad me on facebook (SILVIE.SPACKOVA.1) so that I can send you an offer from a local travel agency (also if we trek individually a guide is a need).
Hope to talk to you soon!
    all the best,
    Silvie

  3. Hi Silvie, my girlfriend and I are also looking to do the track around the 29th, with guide and porter, and paying the rest as we go. We arrive in Thamel, Kathmandu on the 25th. Let me know if I can contact you on FB as well!
    Cheers,
    Mario

  4. Hi guys,
I’ve just arrived in Kathmandu and looking for people to walk Manaslu with. Around 29th would be perfect for me to start the trek. I’m happy to share the costs for guide (not sure how it works, but heard about 4ppl max per guide) and permissions. Prefer to chose the place to stay and eat as we go, without the agency/guide suggestions. Got some experience with that 🙂 Anyway, give me a shout if anyone is interested and we can catch up for a drink and talk about it (email could do as well before you arrive). I’m really looking forward to hear back from you. Cheers!

  5. Hello Trekking people –

I am set to start the trek with one partner departing Kathmandu for Arughat on the morning of March 30th. Does anyone want to share a hired jeep instead of taking the public bus? The jeep is $180USD, and some can carry six or seven people.

    Thanks, Ralph
