Manaslu Circuit Trek

Namaste,

I am planning on trekking Manaslu Circuit from Arughat which will include Tsum Valley then connects to Annapurna circuit at Tilije (possibly to Annapurna Base Camp). As you would know Manaslu region require a guide for entry to the region. I am fairly adventurous and open minded, not particular about things and overall an easy going person. I have done most of the research already. Ideally I would like you to join for the whole trip but open to do sections if you desire. I will be arriving at kathmandu on November 1st 2017, planning to start the trek around November 3rd.

I have found a Trekker to partner with for the manaslu and Tsum valley section. We would like the group to be 3-4 people so it will be easier to stay in the same tea house.

GUIDE/PORTER: We have secure a guide and porter for the group. The guide for $18 per day and the porter for $14 per day.

PERMITS: Approximately $300 PER PERSON.

Hope to hear from you soon.

This is a rough itinerary for 21 days (open to changes) in Manaslu region (not including AC and ABC), give or take a few days for unexpected events will make it 23 days. I also have other itineraries from other guides, i will share with you, if you like.

  1. Hi Fei – am interested in doing similar. Im doing EBC arriving back in KTM around Oct 30th – Nov 3 would be an ideal start for me. Flexible in terms of plans – need to be finish by 29th Nov. regards Mark

  2. Hi Fei, do you have your dates set for this? I’d like to join but I’m not sure if I could because my timeline is pretty tight – my flight to Kathmandu arrives on Oct 29 and my flight out is on Nov 21.

  3. Hi Justin,

I thought I have relied to this thread but apparently not. Our date are pretty flexible but we are arriving on November 1st then 1 day for permits and paperwork finally start trekking on November 3rd. We are trekking slowly with frequent stop for pictures and breaks. Probably finish around 20-21 days. I’ll keep you posted if anything changes.

    Best,

    Fei

    • Fei, thanks for writing back, but that’s just a few days too late for me… I wouldn’t be back to Kathmandu in time for my flight.
      Enjoy your trek,

      Justin

    • Hi Fei,

I am flying into Kathmandu on 3rd November and looking to hike Manaslu and Tsum Valley. I am American/British, 48 years old, teacher in Rome. Hiking and guiding experience in Italy, Morocco, Jordan, Ladakh. If you are flexible enough to wait until the 5th, so I can get permits, I would certainly join you.

  5. hi Paul,

thanks for contacting me. due to my partners’ limited time in Nepal we will be starting the trek on the 3rd. All our paper work and guide are already in place. It will be difficult to ask everyone to change. sorry we couldn’t change our date.

  6. Not to worry – thanks for getting back to me and have a great trek!
