Manaslu Trek

Hi there,

I’m a keen hiker from Australia and love to take photos. I am planning on doing the Mansalu Trek in March. I’m looking for hiking partners to share a guide and/or a porter with. I’ve chosen the Manalsu hike as its supposedly a quiet less traveled track with incredible scenery.

Cheers,
Fraser

  1. Hey, I don’t know if you’ve found others to join you yet, but I’d be interested. I’ve only done the Annapurna Circuit here, with minimal hiking experience back in Oz, but really loved it. I’m looking to do as many treks as possible before I head back home in May (incase you have more time here and would also be interested in Mardi or Lang Tang..).

I’ve been in Nepal for 8 months already, and unfortunately the air quality brought back my childhood asthma. So on steep ascents I can become a bit of a snail, but I don’t let it stop me from pushing forward. So if you’re looking for someone that can keep pace with you the whole time I’m probably not the best companion, but I don’t mind catching up- and casual slopes and descents are not an issue.

Happy to share a guide if the trek requires it or isn’t well marked enough to just go it alone and figure it out. Just let me know!

  2. Hey fraser,
I like to take photos as well and am looking for a trekking partner. I wouldn’t describe myself as a hiker, but i‘m A sportsman so that should be no problem.
If you‘re still looking for someone I would be totally down (with or without guide)
    Greetings
    Sven

  3. hi,

I am interested in the manaslu circuit too. I have done some trekkings in the past, with recently the dzongri trek in Sikkim (4100m). But none yet in Nepal. I am here till the end of april, but would like to do the manaslu trekking in March. Please let me know if you’re still looking for people…

    regards,
