Manaslu, Tsum, Larke trekking 21 days

I’ve booked my flight tickets arriving in KTM on the 9th of March and departing on 3rd of April.

Looking to partner up to do the Manaslu trekking of 21 days, including Tsum valley and Larke pass. I’ve found a guide with very good references. I’m in fit condition, currently training to run a marathon. I’ve done multiple trekkings in the last decade including Mt Rinjani (3726 mtr) on Lombok, Indonesia. I’m positive minded, see opportunities instead of limitations, polite, respectful, relaxed and emotionally stable 🙂

So, looking for someone to join the Manaslu trekking, in reasonable fit condition and respectful to local cultures. Reply only with serious intentions to join. Timeframe is fixed for me with 1 or 2 days of variation.

  1. Hi, I’m hoping to fly in around the 5th March. This trek comes highly recommended so I’d like to find someone to walk with. I don’t think I have the same level of fitness as you and altitude isn’t something that can be rushed but I’ve managed a few 1/2 marathons in my time and I will be doing more to prepare in the coming months. I would hope as a hockey player I’m pretty tough 🙂

    • Hello Katie, are you planning to include Tsum valley with manaslu trek ? you have an option to replace Tsum valley with the most beautiful part of annapurna circuit.
Please let me know what is your plan as I am in need to find a partner the soonest.

    • Hi Katie, sounds good! I agree altitude shouldn’t be rushed and would like to do some sightseeing before trekking. Would you be okay starting on the 15th of March? and then 18 days returning on 1st of April? Half marathons and hockey should do fine 😉

  2. Hello, I am planning to do Manaslu and continue the Annapurna circuit starting 10th of march and I need a partner ( for manaslu part at least ) since it is a must. I have chosen to combine both circuits because I don’t want to miss Tilicho lake and Thorong LA ( in the annapurna part ). I guess have the same level of fitness as you are. Do you consider replacing tsum valley with the annapurna part ?
please let me know your thoughts.

    • Hi Jad, 10th would be too soon for me as I need to acclimatise for a few days. Also Tsum valey comes highly recommended. How should one move between the two treks? It seems too far apart to walk from the Manaslu trek to Tilicho, or am I wrong? Thanks!

    • Hi, guys! I support idea of a campaign round Manaslau and then round Annapurna. It is ready to join you. On part of a track around the guide is obligatory for a Manaslau. How I understood, Robin has an eye on someone? what its cost? I, in principle, am ready to join for any date (on March 10-18) as I didn’t buy plane tickets yet. I am 41 years old, in a normal physical form, have experiment of campaigns on mountains. I wait for your messages.

  3. hey Robin, annapurna and manaslu are very close… last 4-5 days of manaslu trek are actually part of annapurna… dharapani village is the intersection… from dharapani you need 4-5 days to reach tilicho lake ( highest natural lake in the world ) and Thorong LA in 8 days ( which nearly the same time you spend in Tsum valley ) … the return to kathmandu will be by plane from Jomson …. anyway if you change your mind let me know … I am as well flexible with the date of the trekking ,,, I can start on 13th or 14th of March…

  4. Hi Robin
Are you still looking for some company on your trek? I’m arriving in Nepal on 6th March, leaving 3rd April.

Can discuss via email/FB if it’s easier?!

  5. Hi, I’m interested in doing manaslu and tsum. I’m flexible with dates. Can I get sense if this is with a guide and porter and how much? I have done Annapurna , gokyo, Chola Pass and EBC .
