Mera Peak

My plan is to go from Lukla to Khare without a guide and a tent then meet with the sherpa guide in Khare (3-4 days, not decided yet ). From Khare we ll go to Mera Central (5 days) and back to Khare. Then we ll go to join in the Makalu then Everest base camp trek through the Amphu Lapsa pass. The Sherpa will accompany us until the other side of Amphu Lapsa until Churdunk, where we will find guest houses back to Lukla. (5 days to Churdunk) (5-6 days back to Lukla). Add one or two rest days or acclimatisation days, let us count 22 days for the whole of it.

I wont describe the difficulties or sight seeings, if you re up for it you know them already…

To obtain the total price you should take into account:
125$summit permit
80$everest + makalu national park permit
A certain price for the guide (looking into that at the moment, I d be happy to share )
A certain price for food and accommodation on the way.

As things go, I am looking for 1-2-3 partners willing to go as soon as both preparations and weather let us ( I might go as soon as Saturday). I ll wait for partners if I get some news.

I am a man, 33, swiss, I love mountains…

I havent got a mobile number… I check my emails very often. I can call you, write you, whatsapp you…

I look forward to hearing from you and meeting you.

  1. Hi Cyril. Finally I have decided for Mera Peak April 2-18 2017. I am a university teacher and can’t travel before that. As this year I already climbed Kili!

  2. Hello. Did you really mean April? Well I dont think I can wait that long. LOL

    • Oh course I understand ! 🙂 I hope it is amazing!
