Nepal: Dudh Kunda
I am planning to go trekking from the beginning of November until Christmas mostly in the Everest Region. Other than flying into Lukla, I would like to start trekking in Jiri or Shivalaya.
On the way to Lukla, I want to do the side trip to Dudh Kunda as a self-supporting camping trek.
From what I’ve read this is a doable, nice and scenic trek for which I am looking for one or two fellow trekkers. They should have some trekking experience as well as all the required equipment. Of course, it is possible to share some gear such as a stove and stuff like that.
Whereas I do have some experience with independent camp trekking and altitude, for example in Tajikistan or Mount Kenya, I have never been in Nepal before. So I don’t really know what is expecting me in terms of climate and terrain (except for what I’ve read).
Looking forward to hear from you, if you would like to join.Reply
