Nepal Everest Base Camp

Hi all.

I’m heading to Nepal on the 2nd of November for 5 weeks. I’m going to do the everest base camp trek. I’m open to trekking from Jiri although if I’m alone I will trek from Luka and back to Jiri.

I’m open to hiring a porter guide for the trek or doing it unassisted.

I’m reasonably fit, easy to get along with and happy to go along with the kind of trek you hope to do, even if it’s just someone to check in with each day for safety.

Let me know your thoughts and ideas and hopefully we can work something out that works for both of us.

  1. Hi Brad,
For months ago I bought ticket to Kathmandu, since then I’ve been thinking about two routes : Kanjendzonga BC or Three Passes in Everest Region. Later one wins, so on the 3rd of November I plan to travel to Salleri by jeep and move towards Namche, Chukhung, Lobuche and Gokyo. I’d like to cross high passes (Kongma, Chola, Renjo). If I will have enough time i end my treking in Jiri. It looks we could join our efforts 🙂
    Best regards, Jarek

  2. Hey Brad, are you still looking for a partner to Everest base camp?

  3. Hi Brad,

I am planning to go to Nepal early November to do a trekking. I am flexible with respect to which one and with timing as well, I just have the restriction that I can’t start more early than the first week of November (Because of my graduation ceremony). Please let me know if you’re still looking for partners.

  4. Hi Brad,

I am planning to start my trekking from Lukla on Nov 7th for the sake of saving time since my time off work is limited. If you can join me from Lukla on Nov 7th, or if you think we will have any overlapping days on the trail, I would love to join you, anyways, I am doing EBC for sure from Nov 7th to 20th even by myself.

I am 27, from San Fransisco, have done a lot of mountain climbing and backpacking in California as well as in Tibet. I am in good physical shape, always pack light, being self-sufficient, cheerful and fun person to trek with.

Please let me know if our dates work out for EBC trekking together.
    Cheers,
    Sophie

    • Hi Brad,

My brother and I are landing on the 6th, so after organising stuff probably get to Lukla on 8-9th for the Everest Base camp trek. We’d be interested in hooking up to share a guide and logistics etc.. If anyone wants to meet this Sun/Mon in Themal, maybe we can arrange a landmark(bar) and set a time??. Happy travels people.

  10. Hi Brad! I’m arriving in KTM on the 31st and looking to join a few people for a trek. I’m very laid back about route etc so give me a shout if you still need partners. I’m probably going to stay at Alobar 1000 for a few nights on arrival then head to a start point.

    Cheers
    Matt

    • Hi there!

I just arrived in Kathmandu and the more I get into it, the more I would love to do the trek independently. Is there still someone left to be my trekking buddy? 🙂
