Nepal/Annapurna End of Sept 2013

I will be arriving in Kathmandu on September 26th leaving Oct 16th and would like to spend 10-12 days hiking the Annapurnas starting around October 1st. I am a 40 year old female reasonably fit/healthy who is very active but no high altitude experience so would like to go at a moderate pace. I am fun and easy going and would love to find some partners to join me. My travel partner isn’t going to be able to make it and I don’t want to go with an expensive tour company nor do I want to cancel! Hoping to find some other enthusiastic souls on here to share experience with! It will be my first time to Nepal. My friend who isn’t able to make it has been several times so I was relying on him to ‘guide’ for the most part…now I am researching from scratch and hoping things will work out.

  1. Hello Lisa, I will be in Kathmandu at the same time and am also looking for a trekking partner. I am 41-year-old woman, also very active/healthy but no altitude experience. I arrive September 25th or 26th and will be staying through December. I am interested in hiking the Annapurna circuit most of October. I have some friends who have trekked this, but no personal experience. Maybe we can connect via skype if you are still interested in finding a trekking buddy? Kai

  2. Hi Lisa/Kai,

I am 26 M from Delhi, India. I’ll reach KTM on 26th Sept and will have to leave by 6th Oct. I have been to PoonHill trek in 2008. So, I have fair idea about the trails and would love to revisit that place again. I am fun, easy going and just looking for a time out from busy corporate life.

Let me know if you guys are interested. We may connect via FB/Skype…
