Peru, Chile, Argentina

Hello,

I am travelling to Peru towards the end of September and would like to complete the Huayhuash circuit, Santa Cruz, spend a few days in Lima and then head to Chile, Patagonia and Argentina.

I have four months to travel around South America and would like to spend much of it trekking.
Happy to camp and explore the wilderness and once in a while, enjoy a comfortable room 🙂

I’m looking for like minded people to share the experience with.
I’m an easy going person who’s looking to enjoy an adventure with others.

  1. Hi Faye,

I just joined this site so still trying to figure out how it works 🙂

I’m planning on going to Arequipa and do an El Misti trek for 2 days at the end of September/beginning of October (most likely October 1st – 2nd).

I’m travelling on my own but the trek needs 2 people to start. Would you like to partner up?

    Let me know!

    Cary

    • Hello,

I hope to fly into Lima on 21st Sept. and take the overnight bus to Huaraz so I can start the Santa Cruz trek on 24th. After that, I would like to complete Huayhuash circuit but like you, it’s difficult to find people to make the trip work. One company said maybe on 10th October but it’s not confirmed yet. I would also like the go to Cusco. Being in Arequipa by 1st Oct. doesnt really fit into my initial plans though the hike sounds great.

Is this the only trek you are doing or are in Peru for sometime?
Maybe we could share travels plans and see if something can be worked out.
