Overview of the Trekking
Poonhill-Annapurna Base Camp Trekking–10 days, is specially famous for a phenomenal sunrise viewing from poonhill(3210m) and most famous mountains from Annapurna Base Camp (4130m) in addition to exploring rare flora, fauna and typical lifestyles and culture of Gurung and Magar settlements.
The trek starts with a 20-25 minutes flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara. The trek to Poonhill and Annapurna Base camp then continues from Pokhara via Nayapul hiking along the riverside towards Ghorepani, where we have a camp overnight. The next morning, you will hike to Poonhill that offers the view of famous mountains Gangapurna(7455m), Annapurna South(7219m), Annapurna I(8096m), Dhaulagiri(8167m),Manaslu(8163m) Hiuchuli (6441m) several other peaks along with the mind-blowing view of enigmatic sunrise early in the morning.
Tracing back to Ghorepani, we now head to another significant viewpoint Annauprna Base Camp via beautiful settlements Tadapani and Chhomrong.From Annapurna Base Camp , we can have a mesmerizing view of Gangapurna(7454m), Annapurna I(8091m), Mt Fang(7647m) ,Annapurna South(7273m), Mt. Fishtail (6997m) and Glacier Dome.

Poonhill Annapurna Base Camp Trekking is recommended for every age group but probably the best choice for the first time trekkers in Himalaya Nepal. We get awestruck by the beauty of forests studded with rhododendron, oak, pine and several other alpine trees. Snow leopard and musk deer are often seen in this area. We feel at home as we receive warm hospitality from Gurungs and Magars who are the major inhabitants in the region. This is a must trekking for both adventure seekers as well as nature explorers.

Accommodations and meal
As for accommodation, we will stay in three star hotels in Kathmadu including breakfast. With, trekkers will be provided with selected accommodations with washing and bathroom arrangements. In the higher altitudes, you can ask for a single or a double room as you wish. We are careful about providing hygiene food that you can choose from the menu in the hotels.

Physical condition and experience requirements
This moderate trekking is recommendable to everyone , who enjoy walking in the average altitude. Everyone has to carry a small backpack . Though, it is not much strenuous one, a warm up exercise prior to the trekking is always helpful to maintain physical stamina. This is a must trekking for any trekker with a sound health.

Itinerary for Poon Hill-Annapurna Base Camp trekking
Day 01: Kathmandu – Pokahara: 25 min flight
Day 02: Pokhara – Ulleri (1,950m/6,395ft): 1½ hrs drive and 5-6 hrs trek, 10 km
Day 03: Ulleri – Ghorepani (2,850m/9,350ft): 5-6 hrs, 11km
Day 04: Walk up Poon hill (3,210m/10,528ft). Ghorepani – Tadapani (2,520m/8268ft): 7-8hrs, ~12km
Day 05: Tadapani – Chhomrong (2,110m/7,249 ft): 5-6 hrs, ~12km
Day 06: Chhomrong – Himalaya Hotel (2,920m/9,578ft): 6-7 hrs, ~12km
Day 07: Himalaya Hotel – Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m/13,546ft): 6-7 hrs, ~10km
Day 08: Annapurna Base Camp – Sinuwa (2 360m/7 740 ft): 6-7 hrs.
Day 09: Sinuwa – Shewmi (1 720m/5 643ft) – Nayapul – Pokhara (910m/2 986ft): 6-7 hrs trek, 2½ hrs drive.
Day 10: Pokhara-Kathmandu by Tourist Bus (6-7 hrs): 220km
Day 11: Trasfer to International airport for finale departure
