Roopkund trek in October

Hi,
We are currently a 2 member team with plans for Roopkund/Zorawargalli pass high altitude Himalayan hike/trek

A brief description about Roopkund –
it is a high altitude glacial lake (alt. 4500m+) and is situated in the state of Uttarakhand bordering the Nanda Devi outer wall (biosphere). One can see Trishul and NandaGhunti peaks (7000er and 6000er) on the way. The lake has hundreds of human skeletal remains (hailstones are the possible cause of death) discovered in the 20th century which add to its enigma and eerieness.

Trek schedule:

11th SAT >>>> Delhi – Dehradun
12th SUN >>>> Dehradun (4am) – Karnaprayag/Lohajung (2530m)
If we cannot reach Lohajung on same day, we would need to stay at some lodge en-route and continue next day; this would impact further day schedules
—————————-TREK STARTS—————————
13th MON >>>> Lohajung – Didana – Tolpani – Ali Bugyal (3300m)
14th TUE >>>> AliBugyal – BedniBugyal – GhoraLotani – PatalNauchni (4000m approx)
15th WED >>>> PatalNauchni (2am) – KaluVinayak – Bhaguwasa – Roopkund (4844m) – Junargalli (5000m) – Bhaguwasa – BedniBugyal
16th THU >>>> BedniBugyal – Wan –
—————————-TREK ENDS——————————
17th FRI >>>> Wan/road – Dehradoon – Delhi
18th SAT >>>> BUFFER
19th SUN (till 12 noon) >>>> BUFFER

Here,
1.] the plan can change to account for better customization to Altitude
2.] we plan not to use mules or porters
3.] we plan to drop the unnecessary items post last night stay before final Roopkund attempt
4.] We are casual trekkers/hikers/walkers and not professionals but we do complete all treks with great enthusiasm, grit and determination however holding safety as paramount priority.
5.] Cost in all our last trips to the region have been on average 6000 INR/person with moderate budget.
6.] We plan to employ a local guide from lohajung village or enroute at Bedni as the path is well laid
7.] suggestions would be welcomed 🙂

Brief idea about our (Pragalbh and myself) previous Himalayan trek/hike experiences >>

1] Pragalbh has done Kedarkantha summit in Sankri ranges and roopkund
2] I have done Deoria Tal, DeoriaTal-Chopta ridge, Chandrashilla summit, BenNevis, Scafell Pike
3] We both have together completed Gangotri-Gaumukh-Tapovan trek
